Despite my last entry...I've come to accept the fact that I am a true failure at blogging. sigh... I have started to journal via computer in bed. I find it so much easier... and more comfortable too! ;) I find it a bigger pain in the rear to upload pics on here compared to Facebook and my dropshots account. So... My life is full of so many blessings. I thank the Lord every day for my amazing husband and beautiful daughter, and all the many wonderful blessings I have! I am still busy teaching dance and being a mom. Cameron is busy working and will take another class in school this next semester. Brooklyn and I are headed to Utah next week to see one of my best friends, Amy (Buff), get married and to spend the holidays with family. I love this time of year so much! May we all remember the true meaning of Christmas, and cherish the things that are most important in our lives! Love you all!

Lately I feel like we are part Mexican.... considering we have been there TWICE in the past month! Except the only Spanish I seem to know is... Gracias!! We absolutely love it there! In fact, we've decided that we'd like to go down at least once every other month. It is so relaxing and beautiful! And Brooklyn absolutely loves it! It's such a nice getaway! Miracles Do Happen!

Yes!! It is truly a miracle to be updating my blog! It just seems a lot easier to use Facebook these days. But, after talking to my friend Ashley, I realized how this really can be used as sort of a journal (considering I am not very good at keeping one).

Time seems so be flying faster than normal these days. I can't believe it has been 7 months since I've posted. Where did the time go? So much has happened, too much to do a full update, but I will do my best to fill you in on our crazy lives.....

Wow!! So much has happened in the past couple months! Brooklyn is now 3 months old (15 weeks to be exact)!! She already weighs 13.5 lbs! I can't believe how fast she is growing up. She found her voice and loves to hear herself talk! She is also figuring out how to roll over! We are also very happy that she is completely sleeping through the night now.... yay!! She is sooo much fun! So here are some of the many highlights from the past couple months!.......................

Surviving Motherhood!

What an amazing 3 1/2 weeks it's been! I can't believe Brooklyn is going to be a month old on Thursday! I was so fortunate to have my mom here for the first two weeks, and since then I have been trying to figure out how to be a mother! Wow... it is crazy!! She is such a great baby! The last two nights she slept for a straight 6 hours! She is so much fun! I just sit there and stare at her everyday. While my mom was here we played dress up with a few of her outfits! It was so much fun, especially for my mom!

Brooklyn Nichole Bell

We are so excited to welcome our little angel into this world! She decided to come on her exact due date, September 25th! She is already very obedient :) ! I started having labor contractions in the middle of the night on the 25th, and they were very consistent. I had Cameron stay home from work so I wouldn't have to drive myself to the hospital if she was really going to come. So, we took a couple walks around the neighborhood while I timed my contractions, and they continued to be fairly consistent. I probably looked really silly stopping every 5 minutes in the middle of the sidewalk holding onto Cameron's neck! But, I refused to go to the hospital because I didn't think they were "bad" enough. So, when they continued to get a little bit stronger, I gave in and we headed for the hospital just to check it out. I thought for sure I wasn't going to be very dilated at all.

Well, the nurse couldn't believe that I was only a 1.5 cm the day before, because I was dilated to a 5!! I was shocked! She said my contractions were every 2-3 minutes, so I guess I was really only feeling the strong ones. So, they checked me in, and I requested my epidural as soon as possible. There wasn't even a wait, so the anesthesiologist came in right away! I couldn't believe it! I was expecting to be in more pain when I got my epidural, but I wasn't going to complain! The epidural wasn't bad at all! I was expecting much worse, in fact, I asked her if she had already put it in! So, Cameron, my mom and I played games and watched T.V. while I continued to progress. at 10 pm I was dilated to a 10 and was ready to go. It took only 15 minutes to push and then she came!! It was the most amazing experience in the world! She weighed 7 lbs 10 oz and was 21 inches long. We think she is perfect! ;)

It has been so much fun getting to know her. We just stare at her all day! Cameron is the best daddy in the world! Recovery has been a bit of a process, but I've been feeling much better the last couple of days. We just love her so much! I can't believe what a miracle it is to have created such a perfect little being. I have felt so close to my Heavenly Father this past week. I can just feel His presence when I'm around her. It's amazing to think that she was just with Him! I feel so blessed to be a mother! I know that it is going to be so hard, and I feel like I don't know what I'm doing! But I know this is the beginning of another chapter of our lives, and I'm ready to dive in and go for it!

I just love this man soooo much! September 17th we celebrated Cameron's 27th birthday! Wow! He is getting old! ;) I am so grateful to have married such an amazing man! He is the best thing that has ever happened to me! Those of you who know Cameron, know that he is always positive and has such a great outlook on life! He always finds the good in any situation! This makes life so much easier! He has truly made me a better person in so many ways! I am soo excited to see him as a Daddy! He is going to be the BEST! I love him so much and am grateful that 27 years ago he was brought to the earth!

So, I guess you could say I had my first "painful" experience at the doctor yesterday! I went in for an ultrasound to make sure everything was A-OK with the fluid levels and everything, and everything was perfect! My doctor's appointment followed the ultrasound, and boy was I in for a treat! I hadn't made any progress for the 3rd week, I was still 1/2 cm and 80% effaced. So, he asked me if I wanted him to try and make the opening a little bigger... YES of course!! So, then he precedes to "do what he does" and POP, I felt like I was going to jump off the table! WHEWEE! Then he says... "Well, now you are 1 1/2 cm dilated!" Yeah.. I better be!! So, I guess it's true what they say about getting your membranes stripped.... OUCH! But, I'm sure it's nothing compared to what I'm going to be encountering very soon. So, all last night while I was teaching, I though I was going to have to go to the hospital. I had some tightening and contractions.. and was getting a bit worried! But, As soon as I got home, things started to mellow out. I slept great and feel great today! So.. we'll see.... Maybe she will be here a little sooner than we thought!

So, Cameron has been so excited about making homemade "bings"! What is a Bing?? This deliciously healthy treat is a favorite dessert in Taiwan! It is shaved ice on the bottom, topped with any yummy fruit your heart so desires. Then topped off with a special sauce! Cameron has been experimenting at home, and eventually wants to open a business making these delicious bings! So, if you think you would be willing to dive in to one of these... let me know! Yummy!!

Get Ready! This month has been full of so many fun events! I'll try not to overwhelm you... but here goes... get ready...

4th of July!

We had such a great time up at the Bell cabin in Greer. It was nice to escape the heat and enjoy the mountains for a few days. Our dogs had a blast as well. They figured out that they love the water... but also realized how exhausted it made them! To top it off.. we saw an amazing fireworks show!

My sister Melissa came into town with her darling girls and new baby boy, who I want to munch on! She is the best sister ever! We decided to paint the nursery while she was here. It turned out so cute! There is no way I could've done it without her! We also got to spend time at my dad's house down in Tucson. Such good times!

Mack Family Reunion:

I can't believe another Mack family reunion has come and gone! It had been 8 years since the "quad" cousins had been together. There are four of us girls that are within 3 months. It was so fun to be with the family!

......The remainder of our Utah vacation was spent with My mom and Ray at their new home in Draper, and up at the property! We had such a great time with family! And.......CONGRATS TO KIMBALL AND HIS NEW FIANCE SARA!!!!! We had such a great time planning how he was going to propose. We planned a picture scavenger hunt up at the property (our cabin in the mountains) and set everything up for them. We had a blanket with candles and sparkling cider set up for them at the last "clue". They are so cute together and I couldn't be happier for them! I'm excited for a new sister-in-law! I also had my first two baby showers while I was up in Utah. Thanks to Melissa, my mom, Kelly, and all the Howells girls... it was so much fun! I got so many cute things! My friends also had a dinner shower for me in the evening. That was also so much fun! Thanks everyone!

Last but not least... my belly is getting bigger every day!!! So, I thought I'd post a pic of the 31 week marker! Wheweeee! I can't believe it! Here are 3D pics of our baby girl as well. Kinda frieky!

Well.. yes.. I admit to being a slacker the past couple months! It has been a whirlwind around here! I finished up another year at Dancenergy! Our year end recital is finally over! We took all of the younger groups to Disneyland to perform last week and had a great time. Well... besides not riding all of the fun and exciting roller coasters! :( That's okay though... I was satisfied by riding Pirates of the Carribean and Soaring over California, two of the best anyway! All of the walking was pretty tiring... but I survived! We also got to enjoy a wonderful day at Huntington Beach. I just love the ocean! My mom also came down to visit for a few days which was really fun. We enjoyed one another's company pool side most of the time! And... baby is definitely growing! I am now 27 weeks along and still feeling great! I can't believe it is almost July already! So many fun adventures ahead!

20 Weeks!

Here I am at 20 weeks! Nice ol' baby bump Aye? It is sooo crazy! I can't believe I'm already half way there. She is moving around like crazy! When we were in Albuquerque on Friday night, we laid in our hotel room and watched her kick around like the future dancer she'll be! :) It was so cool to see her kick for the first time! Now it's like a non stop thing. In fact, she is kickin' around right now as I'm typing! Fun fun!

I wanted to express my thanks to my wonderful mother today. Not only is she beautiful on the outside, she is one of the most beautiful people I have ever known on the inside. I am so grateful for her friendship and example. Those of you who know my mom, know that she is the most self-less person who would do anything for anyone. Despite the challenges she has faced in her life, she perseveres and always takes the bull by its horns. She is one tough cookie! I love her so much and am grateful to have her in my life! (If only she lived closer!) I love you mom! Happy Mother's Day!

IT'S A GIRL!!!

We had our first ultrasound yesterday and it was so incredible! Little baby wasn't cooperating at first and was crossed at the ankles. Finally after going to the bathroom and moving around side to side, she decided to open her legs! What an amazing feeling to see your own baby moving inside of you. We got a lot of cool videos and pictures of our new baby girl. I have just started to feel little movements inside as well! Cameron and I are so excited! Now it's on to figuring out what to name her! Choices choices....!

My little Cooper broke his toe on Friday! He and Chloe were playing in the park and he must have twisted it wrong. He is being such a trooper. He finally figured out how to hop around on 3 legs. It is nice and swollen! Cameron is such a good little doctor and makes sure to ice it a few times a day! No fun! :(

Spring Break

This year I went to visit my family for Spring Break. First stop was in Missouri to visit Melissa and Robert and their 2 beautiful girls Lily and Ashley. We had such a great time! Then I went to Cleveland, OH to visit Grant, Steph, Aubree and Bronson. I also had a great time with them. I had to leave sunny Arizona and experience snow on Easter! It was quite an experience! I love my family so much and wish they didn't live so darned far away!

We had a great time on our Cruise! We stopped at Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo San Lucas. The best part was laying out on the beach reading a book. Talk about RELAXING! We definitely want to become true Cruisers. That would be the life! Free ice cream and pizza 24 hours baby!

25th Birthday!!

What an incredible birthday! The pics are a little out of order, but I'll give the details of the day! I woke up to a delicious breakfast in bed! Then I headed to teach rehearsals for a few hours where my students sang to me and surpised me with huge cupcakes. Then I met up with Ashley and drank Boba drinks while we got pedicures (two of my favorite things to do)! Then, Cameron had been planning a surprise for me all week. He blindfolded me and took me to the mall where I had to complete a little task/test. When I did, he gave me a little box, which I opened, and inside were a set of keys!! He told me I had to use the car lock beeper to find the new car out in the mall parking lot. I looked very silly trying to find a car that I had never seen. Finally, in the distance I could hear a little beeping. I kept drawing closer to the noise and I couldn't believe my eyes! It was a beautiful toyota 4runner! Cameron found an amazing deal and surprised the heck out of me. I can honestly say I have never been so surprised! He wrote me a beautiful note and I made a huge scene in the parking lot! It was awesome! He is so amazing! And, just so you all know, we were looking for a car anyway, I'm not that spoiled! :) We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Old Chicago Pizza, and headed out to the Wilkins house to show the new Ride! What an awesome day!!!

Cameron and I decided to get Guitar Hero for an early Christmas present.... and let's just say I have been a bit addicted! I can officially say I have passed both Hard and Expert on GH2. Yeah, I know you are all thinking I'm a bit pathetic... but it's true. So if any of you want to battle, just give me a call. :)

So, we love having Ashley and Rusty over for game night, and we decided to have a battle of the sexes with Guitar Hero. Let's just say... Girls kicked BUTT! We rocked the guys! It was a very close and intense battle, as we are ALL very competitive (you can tell on the guys faces)! Every time we hang out with the Wilkins, we remember why we love them! We are crazy together!! What amazing friends they are!

On the road again! We actually have a good time on the road together. Cooper and Chloe do really good too. The only problem is.. they want to be in the front seat with us the entire time! Silly pups! Homecoming/Farewell

What an amazing day it was! To hear both of you little brothers testify of Jesus Christ and this restored gospel is an amazing feeling! I am so proud of the missionary that Kimball was, and the missionary Dustin will be. Dustin is headed for Rachester, New York on January 9th. I am so proud of who he has become. They had a combined meeting together on the 30th of December and there was no denying the spirit that was there. After the meeting, the roads were packed with snow and everyone inched their way up to our house for the open house. It was packed! I sure love my brothers!!

Over the holidays... we ALL stayed at my Mom's house! When I say ALL, that is exactly what I mean. 10 adults, 3 little girls, 1 baby, and 4 dogs! Between passing sicknesses and staying up late rockin out on Guitar Hero, We were the definition of a "close family." I loved every minute of it! The dogs had a blast and so did we!

It was my first nogger this year!! Cameron and I looked dang snazy in our ugly sweaters! Cameron still looked good! I'm lucky to be married to such a hunk! It was so good to hang out with the old crew and catch up on life. We had plenty of great laughs! The best white elephant gift most definitely was the white elephant man thong that Richard and Emily fought for! Ha! Thanks to Amy, I now have a beautiful carving of her name in flames... 0000...!!! Fun times! Can't wait till the next one.

We had our annual Gray family Christmas party on the 21st of December. Grandma couldn't have been happier than to be with all of her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids! We had delicious food, played basketball, and had a fun program. Our family sang our traditional, "Little Round Man," as well as "Away in a Manger". We had a really good time!

After eating at Texas Roadhouse, we had a chance to go see The Forgotten Carols on our 3 year Anniversary! We had such a great time. It was a good way to feel of the true meaning of Christmas. What a wonderful time of year to celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.

It was such a treat to watch my little brother Kimball walk down the escalator when he arrived home from Ireland. He has grown up so much! I will miss his weekly emails, but am looking forward to getting Dustin's. We had so much fun anticipating his homecoming, wearing our Ireland jackets! We love having our "peacemaker" home safely!

My girls did such a great job at our first couple competitions. They are like my own kids! I absolutely love my job! Yes.. it is stressful at times... but so rewarding!

Cameron turned 26 on Monday!! Wow... he is getting old! I baked him his favorite....homemade berry cheesecake! Then we hit up the golf course! I am not sure why he wanted to golf with me on his birthday... I get very nasty and mean! Oh the competitiveness! :) Oh well! We actually had a very good time! After our lovely 18 rounds, we headed straight for the IHOP. Nothin beats delicious pancakes and eggs after golf. I love
